The Code of Standards

By joining, your business signs the NRSA Code of Standards:

  1. Written estimates. Provide a written, itemized estimate — scope, materials, and price — before any work begins.
  2. Price integrity. Honor the estimated price unless the scope changes, and document any change order in writing with the customer's approval before proceeding.
  3. Licensing and insurance. Hold every license legally required where the job is performed, and carry active general liability insurance — and workers' compensation where required — on every job.
  4. No pressure tactics. No manufactured urgency, no unsolicited door-to-door pressure after storms, and no demanding payment in full before work begins.
  5. Written warranty. State workmanship warranty terms in writing: what is covered, and for how long.
  6. Complaint response. Acknowledge customer complaints within five business days and work in good faith toward resolution.
  7. Honest advertising. Represent credentials, affiliations, reviews, and this Association's badge truthfully in all marketing.
  8. Accountability. Cooperate with NRSA's complaint process and accept that membership may be revoked for documented violations of this Code.

Membership — $199/year

Automatic renewal: membership renews automatically each year at the then-current annual price (currently $199), charged to your payment method on your renewal date. We email a reminder before every renewal. Cancel anytime from the member portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term. Full refund within 30 days of first joining.
